Consciously make no major move right now: observe, preserve optionality, and wait for a clearer signal before committing. The deliberate 'null option' — doing nothing on purpose, which is different from drifting.

Why proposed: Proposed extra class, and the most important one for a DIAGNOSTIC. Any 'what is my next move?' tool needs a legitimate 'not yet / none' answer so the app can tell an owner that waiting is the right strategic choice rather than forcing a move. Treating 'hold' as a first-class motion makes that recommendation explicit and defensible.
